Apple is already feeling the competition in the tablet segment and therefore the company has now announced that they will be coming up with the new fourth generation iPad that offers 128 GB memory space. Apple believes that most of the consumers today need more space that they can use and carry in their iPad with Retina display and therefore they have decided to double up the space. Apple has announced that the new 128 GB iPad with Wi-Fi and iPad with Wi-Fi and Cellular models will allow consumers to store more files, videos, music, presentations, books and movies that will allow them to do lot more.
Phillip Schiller Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing said that they believe that the demand for more space has been constant and therefore they have decided to upgrade the space that iPad offers. He said that with more than 120 million iPads sold around the world Apple believes that the customers love the device that they have come up with. However with twice the storage options customers will be able to do lot more with their new iPad with Retina display. He also said that currently there are 300,000 iPad apps available and that demands more space in the device.
Apple also said that the fourth generation of iPad offers 9.7 inches Retina display which offers better display resolution. Apple believes with more space that they are offering they will be able to enhance the sales of Apple iPad with Retina display globally to improve the sales and profit figures.
