Consumers need more control over their cameras in their smartphones and Apple has decided that they will introduce manual controls in iOS8 that will allow Apple users to handle their photography skills in a better way. Although, Apple has not made any official announcement, but they have hinted at the WWDC that manual camera control will now be available through the application programming interface (API) so that developers can make more use of the features and add more functionality to their apps.
Currently, many Apple users are frustrated with limited camera app controls that do not offer them freedom to take pictures the way they want it. With the help of new features, developers can add new parameters like ISO, shutter speed and white balance. App developers believe that this will allow them to improve their camera app in the future as they can offer greater control to the users on how they want to take pictures.
