Before any solid result could be seen Samsung announced its own competitor for the HTC Evo 4G. Yesterday this announcement came from Sprint that Samsung Epic 4G will be available for sale on Tuesday 31st August with the price tag of $248.99.

Now let’s see what actually this phone carries for which it is standing as a major competitor to the HTC Evo 4G. According to the features and specifications revealed for this phone by company, it is a very fantastic phone with super AMOLED screen and the android 2.1 operating system. The operating system is something that can left this set behind other handsets as nowadays the craze of Foryo 2.2 operating system is at its peak and people won’t prefer android 2.1 over the 2.2 version.

The other features include sleek and stylish design with a full QWERTY keyboard and advance navigation features for some accuracy. Thus we have to see that if this phone succeeds to beat the record of HTC Evo 4G or the claims of company remains just claims and nothing.
