We are all aware about the fact that working at Google cannot be as fun as they seem to make it appear, however in between all these stories that employees are never even allowed to be closer than 10 feet from food, the technology giant is actually capable of lashing out the actual products.

It would be surprising to know that the biggest story this month on Google was not about any product in particular, but it was about the amount of carbon dioxide produced in each of the searches. According to the scientists who featured in the Sunday Times, searching up Google twice would produce as much carbon dioxide as it would boil a kettle. Google, on the other hand refused the phenomenon and such a clarification was printed in the Sunday Times again.

Google has come up with yet another ways to make some profit. It is planning to set up a YouTube channel for the Pope as well as come out with an offline Gmail account that would be able to link to Skype and also help you build some profit in these recession times. Nevertheless, the beginning of January saw a decline in the search numbers, especially during the inaugural ceremony of Obama. We would like to call it the Obama “web mania” and the numbers include 144,000 people following President Obama on Twitter and even more shocking numbers come from the 13,300,000 pages dedicated on the “Obama Blackberry” which happens to be his phone of preference.
