Panasonic has decided to venture into the innovative front of the market especially after the exhilaration of CES and has come up with the new range of cameras that would enhance the whole experience of photography and its time to look at the latest additions in the Lumix range.

DMC-TZ6

This particular 10MP lumix features a high-end 12x optical zoom along with the ultra wide lens. It also gives you an option of shooting at the equivalence of 25mm to 300mm. Making use of the Intelligent Auto mode would mean that the camera would activate AF tracking, face detection tools, intelligent scene picker, optical image stabiliser, focus detection at the touch of a button and it would easily lock in any moving object by pressing the button even halfway down. It is going to be available by April this year and would be available in silver or black.

DMC-FS25

This model sports a 12.1MP sensor and this camera packs the same intelligent features of the previous camera DMC-TZ6 and also comes with a 5x zoom, a 29mm wide angle lens and 3 inched LCD. The camera can also record in the WVGA format and is directly compatible with the 16:9 television sets. This one is also expected to be released in April.

DMC-TZ7

Here comes the first hybrid effort from Panasonic which means that you not only get the 12x optical zoom but also AVCHD motion picture recording as well. The DMC-TZ7 piece comes along with the 12x zoom as well as the 10MP sensor. The camera is packed with the Dolby digital stereo producer for the first-rate sound quality. You can also get the double of HD recording time than the usual. The images as well as videos are stored in the SD card for effortless transfers between the devices. You would be able to get this by April and would be available in black, brown in addition to silver.

DMC-FX550

This is anticipated to be one of the most stylish cams that possesses a 3 inch touchscreen on a camera and resembles the Palm Pre, except for the phone part. The DMC FX550 has the 5x optical zoom along with the 12.1MP sensor and also possessed the ability to extend zoom up to 9.8x for pictures with lesser resolutions and the absolutely necessary intelligent mode. It has another interesting feature called the baby mode that would enable the users to tag each face with its corresponding age. This one is going to be released in March and is also available in silver and black.

DMC-FX40

This one is fairly similar to the FX550 except that the camera differs only in the screen sizes. The intelligent mode is also filled in the camera with the speed burst shooting mode that can capture around 10 shots per second and can also continue with the consecutive shooting capacity so that you can keep clicking till the memory card is exhausted. This one will be introduced in April as well and is available in black, silver as well as red.
