The 2008 Chevrolet Suburban comes with few new features which gives this car more durability, and overall performance ratings as compared to some past models. Chevrolet offers Suburban in 3 trims namely base LS, LT, and performance oriented LZ  and also over two load ratings of 1500 half ton or 2500 three quarter ton. All comes with all wheel drive. The maximum seating capacity in this SUV is 9.

The model offers two V8 engine selections. The one with 1500 SUVs it has 5.3-liter, 320-hp V8 along with cylinder deactivation for the fuel economy efficiency. This offers a 4-speed automatic.  And the other one with 2500 SUVs which has 6.0-liter V8 which offers 352 or 366-hp, based on whether it has iron or an aluminum block engine.  However with a very new 2008 suburban it gets 6-speed auto tran.

In 2008 Chevrolet Suburban, they introduce the side head curtain airbags in all three rows of seats. All others features like ABS brakes, stability control, traction, rollover protection, and dual front airbags are all same as in the standard models.

It also includes a storage compartment in the middle row of the cargo seat because of the new design of split folding of the second row. The new model also gave emphasis on the wood work and 17-inch wheels in 2500.

The ratings of 2008 Suburban is very good especially for its high durability, safety, and a silent ride on any roads. The silent ride on the roads is especially seen in the LTZ model which has an optional autoride suspension. It basically controls the shock absorbers electronically so that it adjusts to the change of road condition. However, in overall design it lacks the flat-folding of seats.

Chevrolet suburban is not a luxury car, but for the company, comfort of passenger is main target and priority.
