Panasonic has just made a nice addition in its popular AVCCAM line with a lighter and slimmer handheld camcorder the AG-HMC40 that weighs even less than 2.2pounds. Though it’s lighter and slimmer, yet you will find it loaded with many impressive features like 10.6mp high-resolution still photo capturing, 3MOS full HD imagers, AVCHD solid-state recoding on SD cards and high quality 12X optical zooming.
A high profile AVC/H.264 MPEG-4 encoding has been used in this AVCHD format based HMC40 camcorder.
